What we collect
Your email address and password (stored hashed, never in readable form), so you can sign in.
Which lessons you have access to, how far through each one you are, and when you last worked on it.
An identifier for each computer you sign in on. It is a hash — we cannot recover your hardware details from it — and it exists to enforce the device limit and to keep a stolen session from working elsewhere.
Reports when a lesson fails to download, including the reason, your operating system and your Godot version. These tell us something is broken for real people.
If you pay by card, our payment provider (Stripe) handles the card details. We never see or store your card number.
What we do not collect
The code you write. Your practice files stay on your computer and are never uploaded.
Anything about what else is on your machine, what other projects you have open, or what you do outside the lessons.
We do not sell data to anyone, and we do not run advertising or third-party trackers.
If you are at school
When your school signs you up, your teacher can see your progress through each lesson and when you were last active. That is the point of it — it is how they help you when you are stuck.
Your teacher cannot see your password, your payment details, or anything you do outside the lessons.
If you are a parent
If your child is below the age of digital consent where you live and has an account, write to [support@yourdomain]. We will show you what is stored, correct it, or delete it.
We ask for the least we can: an email address and lesson progress. There is no profile, no photo, no messaging between users.
How long we keep it
While your account exists, plus a short window afterwards for billing records we are legally required to retain.
Deleting your account removes your progress, devices and licences. A minimal record that the account existed and was deleted is kept, so we can answer questions about it honestly.
Your rights
You can export everything we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — the first and last from your dashboard, the middle by writing to us.
Questions, or a complaint: [support@yourdomain]. If we do not resolve it, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
